A biocontrol lab was established at KVK with financial support from RKVY during the year 2012-13. The lab produces bio control agents such as like Trichoderma harzianum, Trichoderma Viride, Pseudomonos florescence the mother culture is sourced from ICAR-NBAIR, Bengaluru.The lab also produces Pheromone traps and Bio-pesticides like Jiv Plus, Nenma, Sreya, and growth promoters like Phyto + E, Phyto + F and waste decomposer. These are the technologies source from KAU, ICAR-IIHR Bengaluru, ICAR-CTCRI Trivandrum.
